If it was, I've bit, but I honestly don't think he was.

I thought he chased him down and hacked him after being made to look stupid, that is the very definition of malicious, is it not? What utter bollocks, there was no malice whatsoever, he was just tripping him up.
Everything always looks worse slowed down imo, and I don’t think he intended to hurt Jesus, just to catch his ankles to take him down. Then as you say the feet tangled which made it appear worse.I thought he chased him down and hacked him after being made to look stupid, that is the very definition of malicious, is it not?
Smith even said 'He didn't like that' but then changed his tune afterwards to it wasn't malicious but it was.
The studs part was probably an accident caused by the way the feet tangled after the hack/kick.
I don't wonder at all.and also didn't seem to be in our passing lanes, now that is another thing you wonder about with the usual refs.
It didn't make it 'appear' worse; it highlighted just how bad it was.Everything always looks worse slowed down imo, and I don’t think he intended to hurt Jesus, just to catch his ankles to take him down. Then as you say the feet tangled which made it appear worse.
ExactlyShows the standard we get when we're happy with that performance.
Yes he was even but had one decision to deal with and he was never giving the raggy youth player a red for a foul which could have put Jesus out for months.
Taking out that one decision it's probably the most even officiating we've seen in one of our games.
