If you stand still in front of the keeper in an offside position (say 5yds) and don’t move you’re deemed offside, despite not moving towards the ball, if you run after the ball & shield it for someone else it’s ok? Go figure…..next game Haaland can stand 5 yds offside & shield the ball till KDB gets there
 
Why didn’t the Assistant flag for offside in the first instance, same guy put his flag up twice on Foden in the first half for marginal offside. something is really corrupt within the PGMOL. Sure Dermot will clear it up on Monday. We should have had a clear pen on Cancelo as well. Absolute thunder cunts. Malacia made at least 5 fouls on Mahrez alone. It’s beyond comprehension.

I genuinely fear that we have arrived at the point where the game as a genuine sporting competition is finished.

It is corruption and it is emboldened to the extent that it is now happening in plain sight, with everyone turning a blind-eye because too many have their snouts in the trough and even more have too much to lose.

The decision to allow that goal to stand is absolutely indefensible. Totally at odds with years of precedent.

Remember Tiote’s screamer against you about 8 years ago? Disallowed because Gouffran was stood offside about ten yards out of Joe Hart’s line of sight, and was deemed to be interfering with play.

That the linesman got it right and was overruled (by who? We didn’t even get to see any VAR review) is hugely suspicious.

Outrageous decision. You’ve been done there.
