Ref Watch

if Rashford stops running, there is no way Bruno get nears the ball and both city defenders and keeper would clear the ball, the fact Rashford keeps running towards the ball makes both city defenders and the keeper to act, so Rashford is interfering with play,

also the linesman should be flagging early like he did for the city players in the game, Foden a couple of times was clear and a early flag was waved stopping the play, it's shocking and a gift that will get rewarded in a brown paper bag
Same lino wasn't it?

He cheated today, plain and simple. Bent the laws of interpretation to give the desired outcome and the Gabe got away from him

Malacia... 7 fouls on Mahrez, no yellow... They know what they're doing...
I agree with this.
Yes we've lost a bit of form but in a lot of games its looked like open season on our players.
We make 1 tackle and its a yellow.
Its systematic and bent

Akanji and Ederson both reacted differently because Rashford played on if you like. If he’d have stopped running then fair enough, play on.

At the beginning of I think this season we were told that in the case of tight offsides and if there was an immediate goal scoring opportunity then the flag should stay down and if a goal was scored then the flag would be raised and VAR would look at it. Remember the Mahrez goal against the rags earlier this season. Flag was raised after he scored and pretty much everyone thought he was offside. VAR looked at it and it was a goal. Foden was flagged straight away today because there was no immediate goal scoring opportunity. That said it was incredibly tight. Now this is where it gets interesting as the liner must have known Rashford was off and was at least two yards off so not a tight call at all. He couldn’t have seen any other player straight away to conclude it was an immediate goal scoring opportunity with a tight offside call. Have the instructions to the liners changed? Was he 100% certain Foden was off in the first half yet then decided that two yards off was a tight call as so no flag. Not sure why VAR didn’t check goal unless on the comms Twatwell said that whilst offside he didn’t think player was interfering. If that is the case then he needs to be suspended for the rest of the season for rewriting the LOTG mid season. Whichever way you look at it this goal has corruption / bias / incompetence written all over it and the club needs to raise serious concerns. Fucked over today and against Neverton. Coincidence, I don’t think so
What are you saying has changed I am confused

Unfortunately the club will do nothing, sometimes you keep your powder dry and take the medicine but it’s happened too many times at the least we should be asking for atwell and Oliver on VAR not to ref or VAR our games again until they can be seen to be neutral..
