Ref Watch

Excellent use of the word probably, several times. Vindicates the on-field decision whilst suggesting it was the wrong decision - response of a politician. Apart from those in red, the whole world knew it should have been given offside.
Even the Rags knew it was offside, only one person didn’t as he needed to give them a goal to get them back into it.

Simply, cheats prospered.

Officials did everything they could to prevent Palace from scoring the equaliser against United after the “pressure release” Casemiro red card.

Give a prominent decision against United after weeks of mounting scrutiny arising from numerous questionable (non)decisions over many games so as to make it seem like United aren’t getting favourable treatment but make sure it doesn’t actually impact the match result. And now they can continue the favourable officiating and just shout “but the Casemiro red!” every time someone highlights another suspect (non)decision.

This is how you do it for those asking how manipulation works via officiating.

Rags get a penalty & I agree with it but I said at the time of seeing t these get waved away all the time. I’ve just watched Bournemouth not get one at Brighton.

File under subjective.

He did say they'd talked, if not to the whole world, to other associations. But foreign version of the laws says interfering with an opponent is by "influencing" the ability of the opponent to play the ball, not "impacting". Much clearer to say Rashford influenced Ederson than impacted.

City players should have sworn blind that Rashford got a touch.

They shouldn’t have had to, it was clearly offside, but the club & Pep should’ve kicked off royal about it and other bullish!t officiating against us.

We tweak things as we go

Say no more

Why? Because 1) it won't change the decision or the result and 2) it gives the media another stick to beat us with. We all love to take the piss out of klipperty, when he's blaming the wind or the grass for a poor result; how do you imagine Pep or the club complaining about refereeing would go down?

That’s true & Pep always says don’t give players excuses.

He only goes off after a win but some sort of lobbying Pigmol or prem league needs to happen.
