Horrible cheating from Taylor. you just know Fabinho, Thago, TAA could have done 2-3 more yellow worthy tackles after they got yellows and still he would not pull out the second yellow. he just wouldnt.
all got away with their first fucking yellow, unlike Bernardo. says it all.

same as Tierney did with Milner in the previous Pool game.

and get ready for this in the FA cup too.

guess what, we will have a player sent off there for two faults. dont be surprised.

and I am very disappointed Pep aint making this a big thing in the presser after the game. just make a fucking mention of this before the FA Cup game that yellow cards work in a mysterious way when we play Liverpool.

one missed corner vs couple of clear yellows, possible straight red at Fabinho and that questionable line drawing at Sterling goal, and clear red for Thiago for third yellow worthy foul.

but hey ref missed a corner for them so its all equals out doesnt it?

and this is a "City friendly" Athletic journo.

Klopp would ask for an apology from Riley if all this happens the other way and he would get it probably with the media guys pushing the story nonstop...

It’s no longer a coincidence that in two games against the red scousers they absolutely should have had players red carded Milner ( their ground) and Fabinho and Thiago today we where absolutely stitched up,my only surprise was they didn’t try to manufacture a win for them,maybe pep will mention it before the semi final game ..

I begs the wider question - was there a directive from the PiGMOL to keep the game at 11 v 11? Or even worse not send any of theirs off unless it was a blatant red card offence.

It was obvious they wanted a spectacle for the wider audience and they got it, but there was certainly some skulduggery from the officials, especially with the shifty VAR decision against Sterling.
 
Here is the frame that *NBC SPORTS* showed to determine if Sterling was onside right after the goal, at which point the commentators agreed he was just on side. This frame is inline with the rules for determining offside.

VAR subsequently used a later frame where the ball was well off Kev’s foot to determine Sterling was offside.

Everything about today was corruption in broad daylight.

I'm sure there will be another game where the opposition get the benefit of the doubt against us given a similar situation.
 
Fabinho and Thiago both should have gone today, along with Milner in the away game that's 3 red cards they've avoided.

The Fabinho one should have gone to VAR and god knows how he deemed it a foul on Thiago, when it was a blatant foul on KDB.
