Banking on KEV, Fern & Gundog being injured with Dave suspended....desperate stuff from them all.

Aggressive occupation of a spot on the turf?

My son texted me last night and said that the ball had bobbled up and hit a Rag hand twice and it's play on. Bobbles up and hits Bernardo's hand and it's a free kick?

Yes, there were a couple, one of which definitely brought it under control.
I'm not sure what Kompany was meant to do, but he did turn slightly, and lean a little to the side. Not the first time a freekick has been given for a player running into him at full pelt.

the rallying call from ole in the pre match interview with him calling out city and pep saying we kick and make fouls on players and get away with it ???? hahahaha right from the old piss can book of dirty tricks in the media, and everybody including skysports must toe the line and highlight it and the officials must punish them and we seen it last night again and again

lucky for pep and city united are crap and no matter how much help from the officials city was winning the game and in 3rd gear without having to sweat ???

Rat boy Lingard could have seen red in the 1st half was an awful studs up tackle. It was even shown in the highlights right after the game along with Silva, but no surprise its not mentioned now and all focus on Silva

good shout

Lingard late tackle was a red card all day long ?? studs up and going through knowing what he was doing he even had a smile on his face after dirty red rag, i will not hold any hope in the PL looking at it and giving him a red card and 3 match ban, but david silva kung fu kick ????? i can see a ban in coming for the last 3 games

They’re not looking into it

I don't thin Silva should have been sent off so I think he got that right(if he saw it) but he was inconsistent with bookings. Not sure why he let Fred off

Due to me having money on the useless rag getting booked.

Pew must have had someone read my glowing comments on his refereeing prowess on here to him and thought 'fuck it' I'm going to screw blueb4thmoon over.

Even Neville thought that was a yellow card foul, he was bemused that Marriner didn't give it.

I think that was the point that City players worked out they were getting nothing from him.

Clattenburg has decided VK should have been booked for the shirt pull (when an offside was given - compare and contrast with the Schalke penalty...), and the block would have been a second. Obviously, no concern that VK may have behaved differently if he'd been booked. I'm not actually sure what he did wrong for the booking he did get.
