Referees’ Performances 2018/19

He allowed them to get away with the usual challenges, where they are able to go through the back of our players but we only have to breathe on theirs to concede a free kick.

Fortunately, he didn’t have chance to royally fuck us, sure he would have done if he’d had the chance.

Clearly I am not the best to be impartial but when I was playing fuck about it in a bar full of Croats they were in full agreement that it should have been a penalty. Certainly more a pen the the cheating twats free kick the other night at Newcastle,
 
It was a big night for the Scouser and I thought he did well.

Not seen the penalty decisions back yet. The first one, not one of our players claimed for it; the second looked it for me but I’ve not seen it back yet.

Other than that he was okay.

The geezer with the hair got the ball, the other geezer was a bit industrial but not in penalty territory afaic mate.
 
Having been subjected to watching it on mutv, sorry sky, I thought he got all of the big decisions right. In fairness he could have given Silva a red so thank ourselves lucky we weren't down to ten men inside half an hour.
 
Ive never been a fan of his arrogant style but Dean had an excellent game last night.
Including the one's that looked contentious/dodgy in real time,he got the big decisions right.
 
Decent performance by the referee. The only contentious area (one against and one in our favour) was probably the time-keeping. There were two times where he made a big show of warning players against time-wasting, only to then have 1 minute and 3 minutes added time in each half. I don't know if that's him being screwed over by his 4th official though.
