I am sure the ref was in communication on his earpiece before he issued the yellow/red. That could only be with the var team.

The wrongful second yellow gave them a way out of a tricky situation, and if they overturn the red, they can say they acted fairly in the end.

It can't be overturned. We will be told that it was a mistake and to go fuck ourselves.

Nothing to do with today's match but just saw Clattenburg on Michael McIntyres "The Wheel"
Came lowest out of the 7 celebrities

Says a lot when Mel B and a young one from Towie( i think) came above him
 
I saw Rico giving it verbals. The ref saw fit to book him for it. Fair enough

A few hours later I saw the rat aka Fernandez tell the referee to fuck off. Live on television and to his face. He then continued to abuse him.
Nothing was done.

Fuck off with your level playing field I'm sick of it.
