How do you know Rico was cautioned for dissent, and not for a foul? The referee stopped the game and awarded a free kick to Palace to restart it. Normally players will be warned before being cautioned for dissent, and it didn't look like Rico passed any threshold for receiving a caution for dissent.

No, I thought the second caution was for the foul. Has there been any clarification on it yet? I dare say PGMOL will say it was for dissent anyway, in order to cover their backs.

Second one it looked like a yellow in real time for a rash challenge but on closer inspection he got fouled, but var can’t get involved.

VAR could get involved and give City the penalty we deserved.

On the second yellow card for Rico. VAR could and should have got involved as it was a potential penalty check. Foul on Rico, so cancel yellow card and penalty to City.

On the first goal, CP had a player in an offside position. He actually makes a movement as the ball goes through to the scorer who is just onside. The fact that the first player needs to make a movement as it goes past him surely makes him interefering with play?
