Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

I almost definitely, probably think that Khaldoon will be demanding a refund for the bribe he gave to the ref. Maybe a *death threat or two pre match from the Abu Dhabi mafia men in black....Arsenal style...

I'm not blaming the ref, but I think he was too naive, not giving us 3 penalties and disallowing that goal by the team playing in red and white...quite cleary he thought they were the scum!!

I blame Mansour. The guy needs to get on board and start spending money on infrastructure, players, staff, and bloody brown enevlopes.

Massively dissapointed and will consider Nottingham Hotsperm as my new go to team!!

*The death threat remark is obvious a joke and not intended to be taken serious.

Just said it earlier but it’s the typical “magic of the cup” performance from the twat and I’m sick of them.

Didn't do his job even before kick-off today. How their keeper and our away kits could be allowed on the pitch at the same time was just the first of his mistakes

Seems to be something that’s been completely overlooked by everyone ever since ‘keepers started wearing non green shirts on a regular basis.

You could barely distinguish him from the City players when he came up for that free kick.

Just imagine “own goal own goal, no it’s actually the Orient keeper who bundled it it”

Utter gash and that’s being generous. City should send a clip of all the issues today and ask for clarification for future reference. Was the offside law changed for this game as it was for last night’s. Players so pissed off with it they don’t really bother appealing for anything anymore.

Totally agree. How is that allowed in modern football ? Bearing in mind teams cant even play in the same coloured shorts.
The ref was incompetent from start to finish.

VAR isn't so bad looking at these games without it.
In what way ?
I doubt Var would have given a foul before their goal, a penalty when McAtee hit the post or the studs down the calf.
The reason they wouldn't is they rarely go against the onfield decision. Var is run by the people who will next week be refereeing, like Doctors, they look after their own.

Difficult to describe the referees performance without the word **** featuring prominently.
Typical performance by almost 100% of refs in our games( not saying they are bent?) foul after four on our players ( most not given) then almost the first foul we committed booked Macca booked. Then almost full time book a couple of them ( so it looks fair!! It seems every game!!

when people say premier league clubs should take the cup seriously, they should start by instructing referees to not let lower division teams foul them with impunity and risk injury key players.
No doubt, most teams they would with early cards, if it was Orient v Dippers there would have been about 3 cards for them in the 1st half, but we have seen it so often over the years refs have allowed thuggery on our players and again today. But the club does fuck all about it, never moans, so refs just carry on

That’s not true. Teams often play in the same coloured shorts . City and United for example both regularly wear white against each other.
