So has Young’s violent tackle been cited for review? If Atkinson missed it surely those are the rules. It has had enough media coverage.

Don’t be silly.. he plays for the rags and it did not happen

Possibly. That was at least a friendly.

He's not a heavy card user - 91 yellow in 25 matches, including 9 on Saturday. So 3 a match is about par. He should have booked Danilo in the first half, and probably Sane, but the last 15 minutes were just a mess.

He's not even close to the oldest PL ref.
Problem with that though, how do we know that someone hasn't had a bet (or many) on no bookings, and he obliges ? There are laws of the game, and regardless of it being a friendly, he's tere to follow them.

Personally I'd let it go as how much of a kick in the Jacobs would it be if he got a retrospective ban for violent conduct what millions of people witnessed and the most important man on the pitch didn't see from 15 yards
Do me a favour, the FA have took the piss out of us already enough this season, fuck em.

I think he did not 'miss' it. I got the impression he waved it away until the next City tackle on a Swamp Donkey where he could continue the string of Rag free kicks that were the most dominant aspect of the second half! He might, though, now the three points have gone, lie through his teeth and say that he didn't see it.

If he says he saw it then he's lying. You can see the angle he comes into shot and there's at least 4 players in the way but the lino had a clear view. That's 3 cast iron pens denied in the last 2 game-all of which would have been game changing. Not only that but the results of not giving the Aguero pen is that we also lose Ferny for 2 games-so the shafting continues beyond their wildest dreams. there were also 2 other incidents that he should have taken action on-The elbow on Sane on the 2nd goal and also the tackle on Sterling when it trickled through to Bernardo and he mis hit the shot. Both of those were play and advantage but he should have then gone back with yellows.
