Referees/Officials

Too soon to bump?

Would expect Oliver to be taken out of the firing line after the last couple of weeks, but with the international break you just know that's not going to happen. It will all be forgotten by everyone bar us, and we'll probably have him for the derby.

What has Oliver got to do with anything, that game was clearly reffed by Ken Dodd.

The thread that just keeps on growing.......

Fucking abysmal at best and downright corrupt at worse!

I am sick and tired of the bullshit that surrounds the game. No matter who is in charge of our games the officials are making up stuff as they go along.

It is a systemic and multi-level thing. The referees are biased against us it seems and certainly against certain players in the team like Sterling but it is a reflection of the general feeling of the media in general towards the club. There is little or no outrage when we are duped by the referees. The ''pundits'' only address it at best but most times they ignore it or briefly mention it.

The problem is that there are very few people that can challenge the system from within and really hold them accountable and until that happens, talking in forums will not change anything and the culture will continue I am afraid...until something is done about it. Real action.

We could do with a few useful allies (especially in the media).

The ****s on commentary didn't even mention that Milner took out Sterling, just went on and on about what a bad miss it was. Then even after being corrected at half time, they then repeatedly blamed Sterling for it in the second half and kept saying that Oliver had got it right. They are either unfathomably stupid, or are in on it.

That is my point exactly. We need people within making noise and sensationalizing it so that it becomes forced into the consciousness of the media and consequently the officials. Who remembers the Walker push? no one. This game and the incidents will be forgotten in no time.

It is just finding them is the current a problem as they are all associated with the usual teams and on top of that they are part of the disciplinary panel.
