Referees/Officials

Perhaps the time is right for the club to say flat out, that Pep or any of the players will not be doing any more interviews to any members of the press or the T.V., unless Mike Riley and Peter Scudamore start to do something about the blatant cheating that is going on with the officials from PGMOL is sorted out once and for all. Then list every blatant decision where the refs have made blatant decisions that have be given against us.

Referee Mike Dean saw the second-half incident and dealt with it at the time, meaning there will not be any retrospective FA action. "

Dean did see the incident but dealt with it incorrectly.

From Law 12 (Fouls & Misconduct)

"SERIOUS FOUL PLAY (Straight Red Card)

A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.

Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."

I think a two footed assault above the knee fits neatly into the serious foul play bracket.

In this case Dean was clearly wrong. He failed to apply the Laws of the game correctly in this situation. Was it a genuine error, or was he being deliberately lenient towards Chelsea?

I think we all know the answer after last nights shocking display. Chelsea were allowed free reign to kick lumps out of our creative players from start to finish (Silva especially). How they got away with any punishment until after the 90 minute mark is beyond me.

If the FA had any balls at all, Old Mother Riley would be explaining himself to the FA Chairman. Unfortunately I suspect our friend the FA Vice-Chairman (who incidentally was re-elected to the UEFA Executive Committee for another term on Wednesday) will stick his oar in and nothing will happen. Just imagine, if the FA clamp down on shite refereeing, Gill's campaign to make the Rag's relevant again would have to go on hold.

I just wish we'd sack this "softly softly lets all be friends" approach, and come right out and call the fuckers out. Fuck the fines, its beyond ridiculous now. It's literally every week, numerous dodgy decisions, so how is it coincidence/error? It's to the point, we can pretty much predict the calls, before they happen. Just start going to town on the cnuts, didn't seem to do old whisky nose, and Maureen any harm did it? I know we've not exactly done ourselves any favours this season, but when you look how much better off we could have been, had we had decent officials. It makes you sick, it's not even subtle anymore. I honestly believe we'd top the stats, of incorrect decisions given against a team. In fact we'd probably have more, than a lot of teams combined. Again coincidence? Is it fuck, bent plain and simple. No coincidence either, that all these shit decisions, seem to have gone up ten fold, as soon as Pep arrived. Almost like they shit a huge brick, thinking can't have him making their darlings look like fools, and they'll do anything to derail him. I know this all might sound like, real tin hat bollocks to some, but it's just really fucking me off now. The excitement I still get as an adult, of going to watch my beloved blues. Is slowly being replaced by dread, at which way we're going to get fucked over. Time to fight the bent cnuts.

Completely sums up the way I've been feeling this season in particular. It's been getting worse over the last 2 or 3 years, but, as you rightly point out, it's not even subtle any more.

To any other fan I suppose it could just seem like paranoia/sour grapes, but it is literally something every week. Again no coincidence, that the main topic of conversation, after most games this season. Has been the officials/unbelievable decisions, I honestly can't recall a season like it. Media also conspicuous by their ignorance/silence, then again. We aren't one of their darlings are we?

Corruption and a clear agenda , is the only explanation imo for the way that the FA and its referees continue to blatantly ignore the fouls which have gone unpunished by teams playing against City this season.

In another thread, posters are discussing and criticising the performance of Pep and the team this season, quite rightly in certain instances, but no way can either the manager or players be blamed for the disgraceful refereeing performances which have blighted the team's achievements and and at the same time benefitted certain other teams so clearly.

I can understand the posters who are saying that they will stop watching because of this, as it does appear that we will continue to get serially fucked over for the remainder of this season and for the forseeable future .

The ref said he had seen the incident involving Reid and Sergio earlier this season but it didn't save Sergio from a retrospective ban. The relevant body simply said he was guilty of an elbowing offence which was positively "brutal". Oh, and he missed the Derby as a result.

Dean's display didn't rouse me to the fury Taylor's did in the first match but he gave a display of such unashamed bias that it was blatantly contemptuous of all football fans.

The Dark arts teams ,Chelski ,Spuds and Manure all get away with murder ,Us ,Arse and to be fair Liverpool have to win in spite of the ref rather than because .
In the game on Sunday we played Arsenal and they should have had two players sent off and a penalty awarded against them in the last minute. They got a draw because of the ref not in spite of him. No other team can be lumped in with us as far as shocking refereeing is concerned. It's every game and it's major and minor decisions on an unrelenting basis.
