Referees' Performances | 2025/26

If only we had some skilful, tricky players and a decent amount of possession in the opposition penalty area. How will we ever get any penalties when all we do now is hoof it forward, led by hoofer in chief Donnarumma. Doesn’t anyone on here pay attention to the media.

This has been happening all season with Doku, i feel sorry for the lad because he's not being treated fairly by the match officials and he could end up with a bad injury if it carries on.
He spent all the Arsenal game getting rugby tackled by Timber, with no foul given.

I think that was the worst bit of refereeing I have seen on a single player; it was like he had a vendetta against Doku
Even Pep took a yellow card for calling him out about letting Arsenal kick Doku all over the park.

Yes, the lad is a tricky player and a nightmare to defend against, but you want a fair referee to say ok enough is enough and next one going in the book, But we all know the Premier League has it in for us and treats us differently and unfairly, but Doku is going to end up badly hurt if players are allowed to kick lumps out of him because the referee is on orders to give us nothing

The thing that’s most annoying about it all is the complete lack of consistency. All the refs say is “well we have to apply the rules as they’re written” and then we have to watch them all interpret the rules however they see fit every game. Zero consistency from them but they want us to think the rules are consistent.

The penalty aside, some of the weakest, most pathetic refereeing I've seen in years. It's genuinely like going back to the CL refereeing from 10 years ago. They could literally go down under any contact and know that the referee would give it. I think he waved away about 2 of their claims in the whole 90 minutes. He should have waved away about 90% of them.

Used to think most foreign refs are fussy but for both teams, no anti City bias like in the PL most weeks but tonight he was as biased as any PL ref
