No added time made me chuckle.
What if I had bet £50 on 5 nil ?What added time should there have been? With players been in international duty and the game, at that point done, and with no obvious time needed to be added on, what would be the point in adding it for the sake of it?
If anything it’s done us a favour. An 7 day period now until we play the Sunday after. Rest.
So you think maybe Oliver had money on us to win 4-0?What if I had bet £50 on 5 nil ?
There was at least 8 subs in the second half. You supposedly add on 30 seconds for each sub.
You cannot alter rules just because a team has no chance of winning.
No. But.So you think maybe Oliver had money on us to win 4-0?
Nobody talking about the non penalty call on Cherki? Penalty all day every day for meOliver shit as expected. Funny how he didnt book Slot who was moaning and throwing his arms around for 90 mins whilst our manager has to sit in the stands ... joke
Agree, 100% penaltyOther than not giving the 1st pen I thought he had a good game.
Not seen any interviews post match. Has anyone official from the two clubs said anything? No. But.
Rules are rules. You are not meant to change them or bend them just because you can.
If you do it leads to allegations of corruption.
I dont know, I haven't been back from the pub that long but everyone in the ground was baffled that no extra minutes were added. Not seen any interviews post match. Has anyone official from the two clubs said anything?
I'm sure the extra four minutes of recovery time will help us to maintain our challenge for the title. What added time should there have been? With players been in international duty and the game, at that point done, and with no obvious time needed to be added on, what would be the point in adding it for the sake of it?

Or no injuries within the added time that wasn’t given.I'm sure the extra four minutes of recovery time will help us to maintain our challenge for the title.
Was there any board put up with the time? What if I had bet £50 on 5 nil ?

It makes a mockery of the rules and as I say, things like this leads to allegations of corruption.
It’s quite common in cup games that are well and truly over and has been done for years. The same was done when we were 6-2 up away at Luton - the explanation was that if both benches agree the match is over because it is a cup match and no other clubs (in particular goal difference) are affected, the referee can do so. He has no responsiblity for any bets.
I have never seen that in the rules. Before you know it they will be putting only three minutes up on the board instead of at least ten when City are 2-1 down at Newcastle. The same was done when we were 6-2 up away at Luton - the explanation was that if both benches agree the match is over because it is a cup match and no other clubs (in particular goal difference) are affected, the referee can do so. He has no responsiblity for any bets.
Now that I can accept and thank you for the explanation. The same was done when we were 6-2 up away at Luton - the explanation was that if both benches agree the match is over because it is a cup match and no other clubs (in particular goal difference) are affected, the referee can do so. He has no responsiblity for any bets.
No. As we were all laughing and guessing how long he blew his whistle. That said its now been explained and I have no problem with it.Was there any board put up with the time?
