another interesting thing. Leaving the ECHR. Look at the protections that it offers. If push came to shove Starmer could nullify Reform UK overnight by leaving and being freed up to proscribe Reform UK as a terrorist group and have Farage and his crew jailed without due process and there would be fuck all they could do about it. Why? Because we would be out of the ECHR ...........

If they are anywhere near getting elected in four years time, tactical voting will be off the scale of anything we have seen before, but long before then they will start to be questioned on more serious issues like tax, the environment, our NHS, housing, infrastructure, worker's rights etc

Good grief , I am really starting to worry about this withdrawing from the ECHR thing. I couldn't sleep last night after Vic told me we could be tortured without the protection of the ECHR and now you are telling me we will all be enslaved as well !! This really must be a terrible thing, thank goodness Tony Blair saved us all from torture and enslavement in 1998 , goodness knows what would have become of us he hadn't.

Hang on a minute .. come to think of it , before 1998 I don't recall giving a thought to being tortured or enslaved , actually growing up , no one mentioned being tortured or enslaved, I don't recall any of my family or anyone I know having any concern of being tortured or enslaved.
Do you ?

Maybe you should give some consideration as to why the far right want us out of the Council of Europe?

Just a suggestion, but maybe they don't have your best interests at heart.

It's a weird state of mind if you think deca millionaires and billionaires want to look after you.

You are a Turkey that will vote for Christmas, and I'm still waiting for your answer as to how leaving the ECHR will benefit the good people living in Northern Ireland.

You are not waiting , I acknowledge that extracting the ECHR will be difficult and a tough job for a team of lawyers , you already know that so quite why you think I will be resolve it I don’t know .
