Okay semantics aside it's not anywhere on the planet but it may as well be.

Range has never been a major concern for ballistic missiles that can be moved undetected to anywhere where there is water.

We could technically hit Moscow without leaving UK waters and the US can hit Moscow from the mainland US.

its pretty much just nit picking in the reality of it as they will be positioned where they need to be rather than other side of the planet, but depnding on what you read the range is 4 - 6.5k miles ( from google ) is no where near full coverage. its a long way no doubt, but its about half the planet rather than full.

Circumference of the earth is about 24k miles. so if your on the other side of the planet your at least 12k miles away.

this is 4k miles.
