But they are "desperate" because it is the very same types of people that have got us where we are. The banks fuck up and get bailed out and hey presto some millionaire chancellor comes along and brings in austerity and everything that went with it. The vast majority of the issues we face today are as a direct result of that policy. Think: justice system, policing, NHS, education, housing, roads. Interest rates were below 2% for over a decade, wasn't that the perfect time to actually borrow and invest in the infrastructure? No, let's blame it on the foreigners, be it legals, illegals or the EU actually having the nerve to ask the UK to adhere to the rules all the other 3rd party countries have to, but of course they needed us more than we needed them!!This!
