All he was trying to do was put into context a reason why Putin invaded Ukraine.... rightly or wrongly.
Putin felt NATO was over the years getting too close to Russia and has what he believes to be the best thing for stopping Ukraine from joining. Whether you like it or not, or agree or disagree this is a point of view.... We do all believe in free speech don't we?

Farage apparently believes in the sovereignty of nations which he loudly procalimed why he wanted the UK out of the EU yet he apparently doesn't believe in the sovereignty of nations who applied to join the EU and/or NATO as a result of holding referenda that expressed the overwhelming desire of their people to do so.

Farage is a hypocrite as well as a ****.

No, some parties I don't like, hello conservatives, but I accept some do and will vote for them they have that right. Reform are different they are dangerous and dressed up to seem reasonable. those people that support them should have the reality of those views pointed out,people should do all they can to stop those views being accepted as mainstream or reasonable, the same as we did with NF ,BNP, EDL.

There is nothing more we would like but for them to change their minds and not to vote for them. But he/she posted his opinion and been called a fool, idiot which doesnt help.
Maybe someone (with a lot more knowledge on politics than me) could talk to him/her and maybe, just maybe change the persons mind.
He/she may not be aware of the consequences of voting for them

Probably, but this isn't the forum that any minds get changed. I just think if they are voting reform, they should realise it isn't a mainstrem party it trys to pretend it is.

TBF this is something I have to overcome in myself.

I remember being 20 and down the pub, and having constructive conversations on politics. I remembered that it was obvious back then, you have to listen patiently and think how to relate to the other person's perspective.

On the internet, it's far too easy to lapse into emotional reactions. That is pretty much how it works. People speak more "freely". We're less worried about offending someone than in real life. But we're as quick to take offense.

Patience and respect for every person you meet is essential on the net. And I have to keep trying not to react. I keep failing, but every time I pull it together I'm a little bit happier with my response to this situation. A little calmer. Because it's a bit of an illusion. People haven't changed. We maybe forgot to be realistic about life and who 'we are'.

I'm a green voter so it doesn't matter what I want. Barring something bad happening to him Starmer will be the next PM, its why he should be open to scrutiny. Its why his thread and Labour one is getting busier. His supporters should expect this and accept he will fuck up.
