No probs, just let me know.

Can you post an image of the flyer on here to give an idea of content?

Our problem is handing them out, im busy on flag and display duty in lower SS along with a few others.. If you can round up some guys to distribute that would help ?

You've mentioned the deadline is 22 Jan, is this written in stone? Can you get away with say first week Feb? The reason I'm asking is it maybe a good idea to have a big push at the next away match with a big following, presumably Chelsea? Not sure how many tickets we've taken up for that but I could do a print run of say 2,000? Your guys wouldn't be busy doing the home match stuff and I'm pretty sure there would be a few volunteers off Bluemoon who could help with distribution at the turnstiles. A good percentage of the "target audience" would be at Chelsea and word of mouth would grow significantly from there.

Just thinking out loud really..

Unfortunately the deadline was set by the club because it coincides with other deadlines they need to meet for certain things.

Hopefully we're gonna get a few more printed and hand them out before Arsenal and at the EDS game on Sunday.

Get some blue tack stick em up in pubs on posts just leave em on the concourse people will pick them up .ask king of the kippax to get on board .still think it a good idea start a new thread for volunteers the big branches like bredbury ect would be able to give leaflets out on there coach good luck

I'd guess the main blocks you are targeting would be 107 to 111, couldn't you try and get somebody from each block to hand out leaflets at half time. I appreciate people from other parts of the ground may be interested, but I would have thought the majority of potential singers willing to move to 114/115 would be in this area.

Obviously there are certain blocks that will provide more people who want to move to 1894 block, but, for example 110/111 are already pretty decent singing sections, people in 109 onwards get forced to sit down so they might be more interested, best case scenario is if all the south stand and kippax stays as they are, and the extra 1000 or so seats are taken up by people from completely different parts of the stadium so we get more people willing to sing in one bigger area.

Either way, everyone is welcome, we'll be giving out as many leaflets as we possibly can before the game, and anyone else who supports this idea can help by spreading the word around the ground to people they know might be interested or sharing the posts on Facebook Twitter if they have it.

The numbers so far are really good!

We need to keep the singers in 110 and 111 we already have. There the best atmosphere blocks, if we break those up we lose atmosphere. These new blocks should be full of singers aswell. That way 109, 110, 111 and the new blocks would form a better atmosphere. There is no point in ruining 110 and moving the singers out of it

Yes, makes sense. it's just that I thought one of the issues was having two sets of singers split by the away fans not on the same song page as it were, and the plan was to get them all together. I suppose 110, 111 will be next to the away fans anyway which will always create atmosphere, also the gap to the singers in 114 / 115 will be smaller so apart from 1 1/2 blocks it would create a complete end as near as possible.

Out of curiosity, how much interest has there been so far? I was one to register my interest, would be interesting to hear an actual number though.

Also, all this talk of appealing to the existing 'singing areas'... well, from my experience there are frustrated singers scattered here, there and everywhere around the stadium. It would be good if they could be reached, so as many as possible could be dragged out of the darkness and into the light. :)

They're looking healthy so far! We'll feed more info out in due course!

We've got hundreds so far - We'll publish the final numbers on deadline day! :P

How many seats are available in the blocks freed up?

Will they allow the singing section to be so close to the away fans? Surely this could result in things being thrown etc between fans?
you don't get out much do you ?

Lol, Great comment Ped! Why would people THROW things? (Right next to away fans) & SING:)
