Regrouping of singers within the stadium

Those seats at £600 at the bottom are not great seats from a view point of view so I can see why people wouldn't want them. Seems more have moved out of it than into it. Like you say though, Hopefully a few on the waiting list might fancy this section.

The best I could do. Screengrabs and photoshop.

In total 178 seats/spaces left in the new 114/115 singing section. Half of block 114 nearly sold out. Top is 114, bottom is 115.

If anyone is still thinking about it, there are still some decent seats left in 115, near the middle.

Basically when people mailed us we mailed back saying do you want top middle or bottom section. Most people wanted top which is why we loaded up 114 and 115 from the back and thats why the spaces were nearer the front. one a half blocks = circa 950 people and if 150 left thats 800 singers in the centre of the stand with people also moving into the gaps in 109 110 111 116 117 and 118 when people move from there. Biggest block people moving from is 109. After that it was 117. Only 9 moved from 111 so thats largely intact

More seats have gone since yesterday. Slowly but surely filling up.

That's very interesting.

I'm 1 of the 9 from 111. :-) My old seat has already been taken by another City fan. :-(

1 concern I had was large amounts of singing fans moving from 111/110, but from what you say that hasn't happened. It's also interesting that those moving to the new singing section seem to have come from other parts of the stadium, rather than current singing sections. It does look like we will have two proper singing sections either side of the away fans next season. 111/110, and 114/115. The trick is to now get those 2 singing sections to sing together, and get songs bouncing back and forth between those two singing sections. The away fans won't know what's hit them next season. And you an add the new noisy lot in the 3rd tier of the South stand. Good times ahead at the Etihad. :-)

Might have missed a trick but pretty disappointed to say the least about this 'regrouping' of singers. Six of us in 116 right next to away fans since the start always singing and trying to improve atmosphere stuck where we are now 3 blocks away. Emailed details and never heard back. Wonder where all these singers have been hiding for the last 10 years that have filled this and the 1894 area.

116 is still part of the new singing section.

Point was that we got the closest tickets to away fans for banter etc over 10years ago. Call me a spoilt old brat but have enjoyed that and now 3 blocks away even after emailing our details previously re moving

PM wearethesouthstand(I'm sure he won't mind?), and explain what has happened. Or get in contact via their face book page <a class="postlink" href="https://www.facebook.com/1894groupmcfc?fref=nf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://www.facebook.com/1894groupmcfc?fref=nf</a>, or their Twitter page. <a class="postlink" href="https://twitter.com/1894group_mcfc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://twitter.com/1894group_mcfc</a>

There are still enough seats left in 115.

Good luck.

We first told people to contact us in january ! So not sure when you first mailed. After that 800 got in touch. We mailed everyone back asking for your customer numbers etc and those who replied circa 600 went forward.

If its about being right next to the away fans relocate through City as normal you can just do that.

If you stay where you are you'll find it a lot easier to get it going because you'll have pure people round you who are also singers.

Everybody had months to get involved and we replied to absolutely everybody. any queries - the1894group@yahoo.co.uk

There were some supporters that got missed off by the 1894 and their details never made it to the club
