Religion

Not this shite again. Get this thread pulled for fucks sake.
I understand that a way of coming to know true relaxation and joy is not your cup of tea. And so you want to shut down this kind
of conversation. That's your choice - are others allowed to choose otherwise? I get that many may disagree with what I write - no problem -
but you seem no different from those that you accuse of being religious.

Which mythical garden pixie do you believe in then?
That’s the rub. I choose not to believe there’s an invisible man in the sky who chooses how my life goes. I also don’t believe that someone made the Red Sea part, and then a load of people walking through the middle of it on the sea bed. That can’t happen.

This guy arfur seems to just talk utter tripe, riddles and a lot of other guff. I’m being polite this morning by the way.!

I agree it’s not my place to ask for this shit thread to be pulled. It’s none of my business.

I am sorry if I am unable to communicate with you in a way that is other than tripe, riddles and guff. I don't mean to cause you grief. Perhaps
all I am saying is that I find that when I can truly relax I can feel a joy inside. When I am stressed I can only only look outside to get happiness but this can bring a kind of dependance on things which is not so great. To say that 'one has to be religious to know relaxation and joy' is not the same
as saying 'When I come to know relaxation and joy, I find that some of what is written in religious texts can fit with this.' The relaxation and joy is
more important than arguments about religious dogma. Perhaps many churches have lost sight of this?

So whatever brings you relaxation and joy, then great, if that's what you want. Perhaps we all have our own different ways of finding this...
