Relocating Season Ticket - We've regressed - Whats going on?!

I took a half day off work. Arrived at the ticket office at 12:40 and left at 12:48

The question is why didn't they have the office open for relocations at the weekend? That way more people would probably have gone down to the ticket office, which would have made it easier for those who couldn't to get through on the phone.

Another superb cock up from the club!

Probably didn't offer the weekend because of the England game. They were trying to shift the last remaining 10k tickets so might have been a bit busy to handle the season tickets. Why are they even doing this all now anyway. The fucking season doesnt start till August!

Hi, As stater of the thread I will interpret customer services explanation they gave me as to why there are no online relocations. Put simply, they say they have no mechanism to link the relocated seats to a credit or debit system. This time last year they ran the relocation scheme before payments had been made and as they had just built SS3 they had lots of availability to swap into.

So this year you would only have the non renewal ST holders to offer for swaps which in fairness isn't as big a figure as last year. However they've had 365 days to pay some web designers to link the system to a financial system. They could have even covered their costs by saying there's an admin fee to relocate online. How many hours would have been saved...?

The reality is you've paid an enormous cost in collective phone calls and this whole pantomime needs to be put right by next season. Complain, protest, tell everyone. The only thing you can't do is change your team especially if you've been going like me since the age of 8 and now are mid 40's.

Thank you for your reply.

Prior to Seasoncard renewals there is very little availability to relocate in to. Due to this we allow current Seasoncard holders to renew or not renew their seat for the upcoming season.

We then release the seats of the supporters who have not renewed thereby widening the availability for supporters to relocate in to.

I hope this helps.

I wasn't talking about the weekend gone in particular. Even this weekend would have been better. The start of the season is a long way off, so there is plenty of time for the season tickets to go on open sale if there are any free.

Was on the phone for 2 hours was 3rd in que for 50 min before I got cut of tried again few hours later and I was 19th in que so put phone down an drove to stadium 1 bloke in front and 5 mins later was done and dusted

Sacked off ringing this morning, waited until about 3pm where I was 80 odd in the queue and decided to stick it out. 90 minutes later and I actually spoke to a real person ;) Kinda got sorted, all £299s had gone in SS3 so just opted for a £380 pitchside seat in the CB/North corner. Not ideal and I'd rather be up in the gods but I guess peasants can't be choosers. Does mean a small jump from £299 to £380, as opposed to a big bastard jump to £720 if I'd kept the same seat in CB1.

Will try again this time next year. Felt it was important, after only just getting on the seasoncard ladder last year, to retain it. So am happy enough :)

I know this is a long shot but thought it would be worth a try after the palaver of the last couple of days. Anyone looking to swap 2 tickets on level 1 for level 3? We are in 327 but looking to relocate as my dad had a heart attack and will struggle to make it to our current seats. Ideally we want end of row as far back as possible. PM me if you are interested in swapping or want more info on our seats.

Do any web developers know how easy it is for City to implement an online relocation system? I just want to ensure our demands aren't deemed unreasonable!

Contact city and explain the situation. They're usually really helpful with stuff like that.
