Remember these T shirts?

as a five year old one of my earliest memories was the city bulldog choking out the Red Devil. I’ve not seen an image of that t-shirt since 1989 so thank you for posting it!

Always remember gawping at it and loving it as a little kid while holding an inflatable banana (with no idea why I was holding that at the time!)
Me and my brother bought a couple of them as we waited outside the social club for the coach to Spurs away, first game after the 1990 World Cup

Bump.

Just read this thread and it reminds me of the t-shirt I had in the banana craze of Fred Flintstone walking to the match holding an inflatable banana, and the caption was - "Not now Wilma, I'm off to see the blues"!

I don't know what happened to that t-shirt but I certainly got my fivers worth. Anyone have one or have have a pic of it?

Was he the one who used to jab you in the ribs with an old credit card if you didn’t give him some change?
Has me by the collar threatening with I'm not sure what because I wouldn't sell him some tinnies outside licensing hours in a Spar shop I worked in once

The Venue was the bollocks. Best music by a mile. Dave Haslam always used to steadfastly refuse to play any Sniths on a Thursday night at the Hacienda Temperance Club slot cos he was too cool for that. Leo would always play loads inckudung tons of the rarely played stuff “Jeane” “miserable lie” etc etc. Some nights over 20 tracks. Loved it!
And usually played the whole Stone Roses album even Don't Stop. Floor was like tar. There and Devilles great nights. Got in Devilles free if you went in Lazy Lils before 10. Lionel Ritchie was on the door as well
