as a five year old one of my earliest memories was the city bulldog choking out the Red Devil. I’ve not seen an image of that t-shirt since 1989 so thank you for posting it!

Always remember gawping at it and loving it as a little kid while holding an inflatable banana (with no idea why I was holding that at the time!)
 
I’d be surprised if the deaf punk lad is still alive I used to see him as part of my work and as I recall he had an underlying health condition and as you can imagine wasn’t the best with taking his medication regularly. Had an interesting afternoon once looking for him on the Hulme crescents.
