Repercussions - From the PL, FA, UEFA and within the Club

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ clubs will definitely face a sanction for trying to set up a breakaway European Super League, according to UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin, with even a ban from next’s season’s Champions League still possible.

However, Ceferin believes that England’s Big Six — Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United — should be treated more leniently because they were the first group to change their minds.

The harshest punishments will be for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, who are still clinging on to the idea that the Super League might be revived. They have been dismissed by Ceferin as ‘flat-Earthers who think that the Super League exists’ and they are the teams who seem most under threat of expulsion from next season’s European competitions.

We're "safe" because we kept a dialog with him throughout, hence his compliments almost as soon as we pulled out (within minutes).

But there will be punishment, regardless of the severity.

Hopefully City(and Chelsea), will be split from the 4 other PL clubs who withdrew later, and the European clubs who still refuse to abandon the ESL?

The punishment will be in the form of being treated differently at executive level in meetings etc.

no rules have been broken and all these morons (mainly supporters of clubs who have been docked points due to administration - an actual rule) will be disappointed.

to use the analogy that lots have used about the cheating husband coming back to his wife needing to gain back trust. It’s not right to cheat but you can’t start arresting people for doing it
