In all seriousness, the plans were legal, they spent ages putting it together and will have explored all that.

The punishments proposed were for abandoning UEFA's competition to play in that one. No games were played, no CL games unfulfilled. It's just a lot of bad will right now and trust broken.

So, when all the dust has finally settled on this ESL fiasco, where do we go from there and what do we want changing? How do we go about making sure these changes happen? Do we still need to protest and let our owners know that what they did is unwanted and disgraceful and should NEVER be repeated? Or do we potentially not even want our owners anymore? Lots of questions on a very complicated future moving forward as fans of Manchester City FC.

We could have been playing 5D chess and removed all our main adversaries from ESA/UEFA boards.

I've thought about this long and hard and think the only fair punishment would be to relegate Liverpool and United to League 2 and give them a transfer ban for the next 5 windows. It's a tough punishment, but for the good of football and ensuring this never happens again, they'll just have to pay the price.

I thought the CAS case was the messiest saga we'd ever face, this might just top it. When the dust settles and the ESL disbands officially, we could be facing sanctions along with the 12 that signed up. Would you agree this could be likely?

Now for the more difficult conversation - should someone be held to account in our club - I assume Khaldoon is the man that will be in the firing line. Should he step aside?

Get over it. The management have been nothing but outstanding in their roles ever since the takeover. They made a calculated bet and could have stuck to their guns to bury UEFA but it looks like reason prevailed and we listen to their terms and concessions. Asking for punishment for the club is frankly disingenuous and childish. Like a kid crying in the playground to mommy to slap the kid who took his candy. Not gonna happen.
