Replacements for Cook?

There isn't a shortage of possible replacements.

David Potts of Tesco Asia. City fan, but doesn't have football business management experience.

Peter Kenyon, didn't balance the books at Chelsea and revenue at the rags actually increased when he left.

David Dein, look at ticket prices at Arsenal now. Any City would not want that.

John Williams, respected in English game, but on the continent? Who?

Even Joan Laporta is one the bookies are taking money on at 15/2.

It's staring you all in the face and no one has suggested it yet. As usual I'm ahead of the game.

It's someone who knows football and has many contacts, is well versed in the media so would come over well and who is recognised & respected throughout the sporting world allowing us to attract the finest talent to the team.

Step forward Gary Neville!

All the replacements being suggested are far too 'in the box' as far as I'm concerned, well most are anyway. I hope Sheikh Mansour/Khaldoon is a bit more adventurous with his selection. Are the likes of Kenyon and Laporta really going to do a better job expanding Manchester City than they did with Manchester United or Barcelona? Unlikely as far as I'm concerned. If we want to do better than these clubs we need someone with better ideas than their CEOs managed to come up with, because we'll struggle to beat them at their own games with the head starts they have.

I vote for Prestwich_Blue one of the biggest blues i have ever met and really good at this stuff. he would take the CEO job for no more than £10 million a year without a doubt
