Replacements for Mario and Tevez

One thing is for sure if we go in next season with just Aguero,Dzeko and Guidetti we can forget winning the league or progressing beyond the 1/4s in champs league. Aguero may have another injury ravaged season, suspensions etc...it would be madness and very stupid.

Not being funny but who do YOU want? i mean we have to be realistic were not going to sign the likes of Messi or Ronaldo you have to see who's available i mean i would sign Bentake and Michu as backups to Dzeko and Aguero both decent and proven Prem history!

Well if we had signed Falcao after he followed a pretty similiar career path nobody would be complaining, we would just be missing the £50 million you would have to pay as a club with a brain bought Radamel first.
Falcao was proven in la liga for 2 seasons !?

So, to get this straight, you think Jackson Martinez is shit because he has only had one good season, but to quantify that he has only had one season in Europe !

He has a similar record to Falcao, in that he moved from South America in his early to mid-twenties and hit the ground running in Portugal with one of the top sides there. The Portuguese league offers an easy route for South Americans to get into Europe, and if they are any good they tend to end up in Spain, which is where Martinez will go either this summer or next.

A few posters on here slate players just because they haven't heard of them, but there problem is they have only heard of the top European players that play in at either Barca, Madrid or Bayern Munich and these players aren't usually for sale until they are well past it.

Jackson Martinez should be an option for us, as should Negredo, Soldado, Benteke, or whoever. Personally I still think the Cavani deal could still happen, it's all down to ADL and whether he accepts our offer or not. I only think one striker will join us this summer, and we'll go ahead with three strikers and the midfield will push up and hopefully score more goals than last season. It's a bit of a gamble if we pick up injuries, especially with the amount of games that we may play, but that is the clubs decision to make.

John Gudietti (spelling) deserves a chance for me. He's a big lad and has been with us since 15, I think he would run himself into the ground to prove his worth. Providing of course he's over his illness that plagued him last season. I'd defo give him a crack as 3rd/4th choice striker.

too bad hes actually quiet rubbish at football, don't get fooled by his loan season at Feyenoord, over half his goals were penalties

And your point is? Penalties or not there still goals, did you discount Tevez' penalties when he got joint golden-boot.
I am also of the opinion that Denise Suarez is worth a punt this season, the lads looked good everytime he's played....But hey maybe you know better. Is he "rubish" too
