German you say? That settles it for me - BARM all day long.Surprised you can't get them in Munich, the word muffin does derive from the German language after all. It wouldn't surprise me if he couldn't get a barm there considering that word derives from old English.

The German word is the cake muffin, the bun. It's the French word that is the soft bread!!
Gonna have to email Clichers and Baccers see if they could get a muffin in Paris. i used to get muffins in Tourcoing but they called them faluches!
