i dont believe it, apparently we agreed a deal with pep last week and he was definitely coming

exactly.

first it was Sabella who had apparently agreed to sign for us.
then Pep.
now Ancelotti.
Is Stuart Pearce or Klopp the next?

Heard a strange one Yesterday about Frank Lampard and Steve Clarke, dismissed it out of hand but heard it again this Morning off a different source, probably bollox though, can't see Frank missing out on America

Which former players son was it this time? ;0)

Lol, not this time, just 2 Blues one gets quite a few things right though but i'm not having this one, it's very unlikely

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed

Hmmmm. From the translation of that report ;

"There is a pre-signed contract. Nothing absolutely binding, but a definite step in a specific direction"

Anyone can say that, probably doent mean anything after all :(

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed

If, as reports suggest, we are firmly in for Pep but can only get him next season then I'm happy with Pellegrini. Ancelotti offer nothing more than Pellegrini in my opinion. His team and tactics for both legs v Juve were horrific. No balance and purely a display of pick all the stars and try and fit them in. I'm sure Real would have gone through had he perhaps picked an actual midfielder like Illaramendi rather than Ramos who was pressed and squeezed and imploded.

He picked a barely fit Bale in the first leg rather than play Hernandez who was in form and brightened them up when he came on...

If the rumours are true and Pellegrini will leave at the end of his contract then I'd prefer that than a year with Carlo. Pep ticks the boxes in terms of finally implementing the academy philosophy into the first team and starting to introduce younger players.

FFS, here we go again!

Just lock the f***er!

Until it's on the OS, all these reports are bullshit.

After Colin Bell won the women's champions league for Frankfurt last night how easy will it be to persuade some twitter twit that he is our Colin Bell and will be the new manager?

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed

Odds on with some bookies but still 5/2 with Corals for those that fancy it

It's a contract, a signed contract, but it isn't binding.
