My god pretty quick to deny this unlike the pep rumour

Exactly my thoughts
Which in your opinions means what?

Just seems weird that despite strong rumours linking us to Pep...they are yet to be debunked

Yet an Ancelotti rumour pops up on one website and the club crush it within an hour

If, as reports suggest, we are firmly in for Pep but can only get him next season then I'm happy with Pellegrini. Ancelotti offer nothing more than Pellegrini in my opinion. His team and tactics for both legs v Juve were horrific. No balance and purely a display of pick all the stars and try and fit them in. I'm sure Real would have gone through had he perhaps picked an actual midfielder like Illaramendi rather than Ramos who was pressed and squeezed and imploded.

He picked a barely fit Bale in the first leg rather than play Hernandez who was in form and brightened them up when he came on...

If the rumours are true and Pellegrini will leave at the end of his contract then I'd prefer that than a year with Carlo. Pep ticks the boxes in terms of finally implementing the academy philosophy into the first team and starting to introduce younger players.
Illaramendi sucks, Real has no CDM. The team is unbalanced, but is the fault of Florentino Perez not of Ancelotti.
Ancelotti has done wonders, playing with 3 CAM adapted to CM.

Ancelotti is better than Guardiola...

Guardiola is overrated...

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed

Ancelotti is the least exciting name of the managers being touted around the media but in my eyes he's the safest and pretty much guarantee's success over his contract. klopp has only done it at Dortmund and has never had money to spend, Guardiola has only done it with clubs that are by far and away the best in the league but Ancelotti has done it everywhere. You can't judge him based on what's happening at Real Madrid. We all know that club is run from the top and managers are under pressure to play certain players etc.

That read like it was written by some schoolgirl who has been carried away with too much of Wuthering Heights.

Ah....indeed.... carried away on the tide of literary passion, tossed around by the squalls of youth... Only after she has set sail does she ache for a steady, strong hand on the tiller, pulling her sails of comfort tight around his tall mast... oh captain, my captain, whence did you come and wherefore? And whereto are we headed upon this sea of love, where will the currents of fate and serendipity lead us? Mark a course on the southern parts of my body, and make your entry hard and fast. I fear not the roughness, I yearn to ride on these rhythmic waves, and smile as the warm white foams splash over me.

Why Mr. Lamarr, you use your tongue purtier than a twenny dollar whore..

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed (denied by City - MEN

Would be great. It's just a very tricky situation for City now. The man they want seems tantalizingly close, but is still a year off most likely, and one of the world's best coaches is about to come on the market imminently. Pep and Ancelotti are different, but there is little between them. Ancelotti's league record is patchy, but he's won the title in his last three jobs and is a great European manager. Previous poster mentioned a squad imbalance, which is true thanks to Florentino "shiny toys!!!" Perez, who should have let him keep Alonso as well as signing Kroos (Illaramendi is garbage). They suffer badly without Modric as a result. For me Pep and Carlo should be candidates #1 and #2.

The report says that City have a "pre-signed contract . Nothing absolutely binding, but a definite step in a specific direction".

It looks like he will definitely be available this summer, surely we would be the most attractive job in world football for him this summer? Unless Pep leaves Bayern, of course.

Of the three potential new managers for next season (Klopp, Pep and Ancelotti) I'd say Ancelotti is the safest pair of hands. He's adaptable and proven he can motivate talented squads and be successful in England. Klopp and Pep both carry more of an element of risk as there is a chance their style won't work with our squad / in the PL.

I'd be delighted with ABP (Anyone But Pelligrini) and if Ancelotti is available we'd be mad not to take him.

its going to be crowded on that bench next year, Klopp, Benitez, Guardiola , Ancelotti and Pellegrini, and we haven't even agreed a deal with the magician that is Allardyce yet !

So where's Paddy V. supposed to sit?
