Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed (denied by City - MEN P5)

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed

Whether he's coming or not I can't imagine Carlo taking any of this crap about yaya's cake, nasri's tantrums, dzeko's sulking, etc.

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere, that Alfredo Di Stefano was the last Real Madrid manager not to be sacked, after not winning any trophies in a season - it was in 1983.

Re: Reports that Ancelotti deal agreed

I'm getting pissed off with these negative stories and the media publishing stories with no credence, the season hasn't finished yet but the hacks are out in force. We hear about mp being replaced because we have been shite this season yet we can finish second which is by no means a failure, he has spent the least because of ffp he has had to work with a smaller squad in champions league because of ffp. The guy is too nice never slags clubs or refs off never tells the media anything so they decide to attack him and publish all these stories about him being replaced its absolutely disgusting behaviour.now they are asking about selling Sergio I mean wtf I'm fuming, whilst turtle head gets the easier ride and how wonderful he is because he has managed to get them back into champions league which isn't a given yet after spending huge amounts on crap players but he isn't getting vilified in the media, and now they are gonna sign bale, hummels, begovic, Kane, another 200m like he's the second coming along with that piece of shit assistant,mp deserves more respect not only from the media but us fans, so stand up for city and fuck them all, rant over.

That read like it was written by some schoolgirl who has been carried away with too much of Wuthering Heights.

Ah....indeed.... carried away on the tide of literary passion, tossed around by the squalls of youth... Only after she has set sail does she ache for a steady, strong hand on the tiller, pulling her sails of comfort tight around his tall mast... oh captain, my captain, whence did you come and wherefore? And whereto are we headed upon this sea of love, where will the currents of fate and serendipity lead us? Mark a course on the southern parts of my body, and make your entry hard and fast. I fear not the roughness, I yearn to ride on these rhythmic waves, and smile as the warm white foams splash over me.

Txiki will be going against all the principles he is implementing at the club if we go for Carlo.

It gas been well briefed to the media Txiki doesn't want Carlo.

I like your passion but this season has been a bit of a failure. Ok, 2nd in the league isn't that bad when looked at in isolation but we've not actually finished 2nd yet, there's a strong possibility that we'll finish 3rd (not that it makes much of a difference in my eyes).

However when you look at the season as a whole it's not been good and some would even say a failure of a season. The domestic cups were a joke, going out at home against the opposition we played, there's no positive spin you can put on those exits.

The champions league was also a complete joke and again some would consider a failure. Though I suppose we got out of the group when we looked doomed and we've been knocked out by the likely winners so maybe it wasn't that bad in some people's eyes. I personally felt it was an awful campaign with MP mainly being responsible for some if the tactics and team selections in the both the group stage & last 16. 8 points from a group would normally see you knocked out at the group stage but we had a bit of luck with other results and that Munich were already through when we played them. (Albeit was a great performance to beat them)

I don't buy into the whole FFP thing either. This squad was more than capable of pushing Chelsea closer than we have.

Totally agree with your thoughts on the rags tho and how they've been and constantly are let off by the press for their poor season.
