So long as footballers and football managers think that a bad decision or a couple of bad decisions is reason enough to abuse the ref, this will continue forever.

We used to slag the likes of Ferguson for the way he treated the refs, sadly it seems a few of us think thats OK now.

Mate that ref was the worst one i have seen in years to be so close to the handballs and give nothing he was either getting a back hander or just isnt able to ref a game of that statue. I think the players reacted in a way that suited the situation and as i say they are only human.

Must admit tho i would'nt like a screaming german down my ear! ;-)

Everyone is entitled to a bad game, even the referee.

Also, it's easier to spot the mistakes, I bet he done more right things wherever he has reffed or else he wouldn't be a Uefa referee.

And do people realise that there are 2 linesmen and a forth official. Yet the person on the pitch gets the stick.

Its football FFS, its part of the game. No referee is perfect and can make the right decision all the time. I bet if it was the other way round and Barcelona didn't get the decisions nobody would take a lot of notice.

Mate he may be a UEFA ref but a so could a guy from the Maltese league! What the lads are saying on SKY is right a top gam should have a top ref from a top league, couldnt of been Sapin or England but others spring to mind!

I wouldnt be happy if we were in there shoes as much as i hate those soft twats.
