or the team is shit and is just mancini that keep us up in the table ? who knows ?? you surely not

Stop babbling.

Facts don't lie.

Played 18. Won 3. Drawn 6. Lost 9!
Nah. If you're honest you'll admit that these things can be skewed to tell whatever story you want.

There are basically three types of teams:

1. Teams who expect to win
2. Teams who expect to lose
3. Teams who don't know what to expect

Category three breaks down into two types:

A. Teams on the downswing learning they aren't up to competing at the top level any longer
B. Teams on the upswing learning how to compete at the top level

It's fairly easy to slot teams into those categories. We're in 3B, and that's about where we should be at this point. For the most part we're competitive in the big games against big teams.

So your theories are more meaningful than actual facts?

Bizarre.

1. We're not the finished article.
2. We've not had time to build a proper 'team' yet.

Yeah I agree! plus we aren't as good as many people think we are, YET!

No less meaningful at the end of the season than who you pick up points against.

anyone remember this from mancini?
"draw against the top teams and win against everybody else, that's how to win the league"
probably explains that record

I'm not sure anyone's saying anything different?

I thought this was a different thread about our failure to beat the better sides?
