Retrospective 3 game ban for Rooney? [Gets off scot free]

What a fucking joke this is. No ban I cant beleive it. Every single reporter for papers media were all in agreement that Rooney should be getting a 3 game ban for the elbow. Yet the ref somehow cant stand up and say yes I got the decision wrong and by the tv he did elbow McCarthy and it should be a red card. This stinks of a back hander to the ref and the FA should of just used common sense and banned Rooney over this. Rags this season has got away with a lot of shit that other teams would of been pulled up for.

We've always been dealth with in the same way as other teams. Why do we always get the BIG decsions going against us though?

are you taking the piss?

you've had one big decision against you this season. a handball leading to birmingham's equaliser being missed by the ref.

in the meantime you've had potato head not being immediately red carded when that could have made a difference to the result. (it was early on & 0-0 with wigan playing well).

scholes clatters a wigan player from behind as he regularly does but is rarely punished. once again all he got was an arm & a smile from clattenburg.

chuckle pulled down a west brom player about to shoot for goal in the area. no penalty & no red card in a game you squeezed through 2-1.

chuckle clattered etherington at stoke & got a yellow card but when he did a carbon copy foul on the same player still in the first half he didn't get a second. you went on to squeeze that game 2-1 when you should have been down to 10 men in the first half.

clattenburg allows nani a free shot into spurs' net after failing to make clear what his decision was. that 2nd goal killed the game off.

then there's all the shit vidic & fletcher get away with year in year out.

and you have the brass neck to say you've always been dealt with the same way as other teams but always have the big decisions against you? deluded or what?

Also forgetting Rios kung fu kick where he ripped Songs(?) shirt a few months back - nothing mentioned.

Would like to say I'm surprised about this...

FA's own fault for setting the precedent in the past. its obviously the wrong decision but if they had banned him, united would cry abu but more importantly to the fa every manager would be calling for bans where the referee had taken action but not dealt harshly enough on an incident in order to get people banned citing this incident. after they took no action in the gerrard case last year they were never going to ban rooney here.
