Fergie on MUTV after Rooney clash w/McCarthy at Wigan: "Press will raise a campaign to get him hung & electrocuted."

clattenburg will say he saw the incident & dealt with it at the time. the fa will say according to fifa rules they can't re-referee matches so no action will be taken.

this is the same referee who sent off bellers at bolton last season for unsportingly crashing to the floor when robinson hacked him down from behind just outside the area.

the same one who sent off boyata after 5 minutes of the home game against arsenal this season.

the same one who allowed nani a free shot into spurs net at the swamp this season.

the same one city have for the cup tie against villa.

That's the only one i dont have a problem with, was a red card regardless of how long into the game it was.

This post is nothing got to do with Rooney, But I watched the game today on Setanta th ref was an absolute joke at one stage he actually laughed at a Paul Scholes tackle and put his arm around him, Why is it week in week out Paul Scholes gets away with numerous fouls? Its as if the referee is thinking 'Aw I cant book him its Paul Scholes he cant tackle he does it all the time'
The little pr*ck knows fine well what he is doing every week taking players out.

Just seen it there and he is truely fucked has to be a 3 match ban. Even Fergie was defending it and putting a spin on it to say the media will get Rooney banned and hopefully they do. It was a fucking terrible thing to do to another pro player. He even jumped as well into him. If he gets away with this there will be big questions asked about it.

me neither but why does he stick rigidly to the letter of the law with players of some teams & take no action against players of certain others? consistency would be a good start.
