Retrospective 3 game ban for Rooney? [Gets off scot free]

This year, more than any other, football fans are looking at some of the decisions that the Rags have been getting and get the feeling that something just isn't right. Maybe in years gone by we were a bit blinded by our Blue glasses to refereeing decision they got, but this season has seen the refs taking the piss. This is totally wrong, and I know exactly what people mean about falling out of love with the game. It is corruption, and no way will my opinion be swayed on this one. The FA should hang their heads in shame, and when Bacon Face picks the trophy up at the end of the season, he should at least give a nice big thanks to the refs who have helped him along the way.

Can't say I'm feeling angry about this decision, because its exactly what I expected, which makes it worse. It makes me sad and sickened that another little piece of our beautiful game has died as a result. And its one of a number of similar incidents this season. If the trend of favouritism towards the elite generally, and specifically Taggart and the rags, isn't reversed, the game will die altogether. They've had some outstanding teams in the past, but now they're getting by more than ever on poor decisions from incompetent / biased / corrupt offcials (there are too many incidents for it to be pure coincidence) and anything they win this season will be badly tainted in my view. The FA needs to grow some balls and I hope Bernstein is the man to sort it out.

Yep - Can't disagree with anything you've put here.

If I was a scum supporter thats how I would feel. Of course they won't feel like that because they've been brainwashed.

Absolutely disgraceful but ultimately not surprising.

The FA & Clattenberg are cheats.

The FA wants to be careful it doesn't follow the RFL/Super League route of corruption and effectively kill the sporting element of football and make it merely entertainment.

'275.Question .What have Nani's goal against Spurs a few months ago and Rooney escaping punishment for his vicious display on Saturday got in common?
Answer. The referee and a match in which Manchester United were involved.
No wonder Clattenburg walked very lopsidedly to his car after the game, he was probably weighed down by his wallet.
I'm fast losing interest in watching football.'

Maybe the FA are going out of their way to ensure the fucking tyrant gets his wish -to beat Liverpool's record- and they're hoping he'll retire afterwards?
Even they must have had their fill of this odious, bullying hypocritical cheat after all these years. Maybe they're thinking: The sooner this bastard goes the better. Let's hurry along his departure by giving him the trophy now?

I've no problem telling Rags in work to fuck off - you're just the English version of Juventus.....a bunch of cheating corrupt fuckers. If they win the title this season (and it looks like the FA are hell bent on making sure it happens), I'm more than happy to view it as tainted - far, far, far too many obviously bent decisions that can't be anything other than corruption.

Chief cnuts response.....

REFEREES chief Mike Riley has lept to the defence of Mark Clattenberg over the Wayne Rooney elbow fiasco.
Manchester United star Rooney clearly made contact with James McCarthy's head in the 4-0 win over Wigan.

But he has escaped punishment because Clattenberg told the FA he felt he had dealt with the incident during the match.

Riley, general manager of Professional Game Match Officials, said: "Mark took the correct course of action with this incident.

"Match officials are trained to prioritise following the ball, as that's where the greater majority of incidents are going to take place.

"However, we also do a lot of work around the area of peripheral vision to be aware of anything that might potentially happen off-the-ball.

"In this incident Mark was following play but caught sight of two players coming together and he awarded a free kick because he believed one player had impeded the other.

"We should be clear that Mark did nothing wrong in officiating this incident as he acted on what he saw on the pitch."

"To be fair, the FA are always consistent in the application of their rules:

Punish United players, ignore others. "

Someone has done a classy brainwashing job on him

Hilarious.

I've gone beyond the point of being outraged.

They could only be more blatant if each Ref painted "I answer to Slur Alex only" on the backs of their shirts.

I hope Clattenburg catches knob rot of the head from his dodgy hair transplant acquired from Baconfaces ball sack.

So thats all right then...we should encourage youngsters to 'do a Rooney' when theyre not on the ball...fucking sickening.
