I’ve got a nice new iPhone, get your ticket sent to my phone, I will see you at the turnstile :-)
You can jib in behind me ...
Nce one, my son has suggested that as well. He has an up to date iPhone and it is all singing all dancing. I have an Alcatel Pixi4 pay as you go and the last time I had to top it up was the 28th April last year when I put £10 on it.

I have tried to load Google Pay but my phone software is out of date. Do the Club think everybody has a modern mobile phone, perhaps they could be good enough to buy me one?

I’ve got no issue regarding who got a ticket, I didn’t, let’s get one thing straight though, I’ve been going to City for 45 years, had a season ticket for decades, had to give it up for a number of reasons, military service, now living in the South East to name a few. I now have a Citizens card as I can’t attend every game, I do all the European games, ticket or not, about 12 home and as many aways as I can get tickets for ... Does this predicament mean I’m any less loyal than someone on 25,000 points??
Just asking as some on here seem to think that Citizen card holders are glory hunting twits who don’t deserve tickets for anything...
Apologies for the rant, I actually believe those with the most points should get the lions share of tickets, it’s just that loyalty to City isn’t just about the points on your SC ...

You are just as worthy as anyone else. Is it really loyalty when it comes to points anyway or accepting bribery from the club and giving them an extra £50 a season. I know a lot refused to pay that, me included, but it doesn’t make those that refused any less loyal. I think the ballot was as fair enough really. You win some you lose some.

So next season before you go in you will need:
  1. ID to prove you're the name on the ticket
  2. Proof of vaccine
  3. Minimum iPhone 7 or equivalent alternative to show ticket, with latest update downloaded!!!!!!!!!!!!

ask can they send e mail.

Well that was stressful. Logged on my laptop at 8.30 straight into the queue system and at 9 I was allocated a number in the 1200's and a wait time of 30 minutes. Tried at 9.02 to login on my mobile got a queue number of just over a 1000 and a wait time of 24 minutes so seems there's no logic to the queue system and people are unintentionally queue jumping.
When purchasing tickets kept letting me select tickets then saying not available and even when they were would get a red banner telling me error but no idea why so on the end had to gran three seats way away from our usual place then at the payment stage took 4 attempts as despite my card provider saying payment authorised city said exceptional error occurred so no idea how much I've paid for these tickets at this stage!
Grateful to have tickets but for a multi billion pound business there systems and processes leave an awful lot to be desired

Two years ago I would have been losing sleep over the whole thing, but I'm not bothered about missing out now. This is because of:

1) The pandemic and now being used to watching from home;

2) The ESL and the secretive way in which the club went about it (Joel Glazer being our spokesperson);

3) VAR;

4) Not seeing us lift the league title at Brighton and not being hurt by it; and

5) General disillusionment about how top clubs treat their fans. They do not give a toss about us. Many people have moved heaven and earth to follow City through the leagues, across the country and the continent. Relationships have ended because people have put such a price on watching City. The fact that the club did not have the decency to send out emails to the unsuccessful is a shocking state of affairs. Lads I know we're frantically refreshing their emails every two minutes last night in forlorn hope.

I rather wish that the whole season had been seen out without fans, rather than this one-game scramble to see us lift the PL trophy with many loyal fans missing out. Nevertheless, what's done is done.

I hope those who are able to attend enjoy the day and are mindful of the fact that moaning about not being able to get a beer is not likely to sit well with the legions of long-standing fans who have missed out.

Joke this. Got into the website after queuing and it doesn't allow me to select a seat, even though it states they're available

Done it through my mobile instead and it worked fine (instead of laptop)
