City Screwed a lot of fans over today, I went to the ground with my dad today who is 71 to welcome the team bus, (he was stood in the Leezers at SJP in 1968 when we won the league and hitch hiked it with his brother to Vienna 1970 for the CWC Final) We have both had a season tickets for 26 years and have got 21,800 loyalty points each. Today was the first time in his life that he was not present to see Manchester City Lift a Trophy!

We then come home to see Noel Gallagher sat in the stands!

Not the Clubs fault though is it, the Covid pandemic has screwed us all up.

Does anybody know how many entrances they were using for the first line of checking. My son and I walk from town up towards Mary D’s to use the P1 turnstiles but were sent back to the main (elite fans) entrance where we queued round the side of the Athletics stadium. No health questions or photo id required just about eight blokes with readers to check your electronic ticket. Some fans were having a few problems but we got through only to find that the turnstiles were playing up so another hassle before we gained access.

I know we are in strange times but I hope this is not a sign of things to come. The match and atmosphere were far more than I could have hoped for and Sergio’s cameo was typical of the man. The way our Club has been transformed without losing it’s soul is very satisfying and our owners are due great credit for that.

I am looking forward to next season and to find out if Txiki has unearthed any other gems to add to the squad.

Not sure came from the north entrance at 3.20 pm as was about the quickest I have got in for a long time. About 6 queues just north of club shop

I think fans told to get there earlier had more problems and they had been ironed out when I got there.

The number of stewards seemed the same as a normal match day, so the club didn't skimp and I had no problems.

I’m just happy that Aguero had a great send off with his 2 goals. Two typical Aguero goals and I am going to watch the full game on catch up.

I am happy for the 10,000 Blues who got to see Aguero’s last game, live. it’s clear anyone who who knew a City Director were picket out in the ballot but that’s life. Yes, we would have all been in the ground without Covid so you are right on that point.

I was a 2.30 to 3.00 entrance time. Arrived by tram at 2.19 joined the queue on Joe Mercer Way had my ticket (print at home) and ID checked and was sitting outside entrance Y waiting for the gates to open at 2.24. In the ground in my seat at 2.33. Can’t ask fairer than that. The stewards doing the scan were great, couldn’t understand why the club weren’t keeping Sergio. :-)

The first steward inside looked a little perplexed when I walked through the turnstile and put my fists in the air ‘shouting’ (not very loudly in case they threw me out) ‘Yyeess, we’re back’! My only sour note? There were no meat and potato pies! ;-) :-)

It's the club's fault that the loyalty points bar was set at 22,000 when only about 650 fans have more than that. 6.5% of tickets based on loyalty is a disgrace assuming that figure is correct.

All worked fine for us, we prebooked parking and even the steward there greeted me by name after scanning the number plate.

last game of the season should be shirt and shorts weather, up in the East Stand level 3 we were grateful for the pyrotechnics for keeping us from freezing to death

The Sky commentary saying they were "one of the lucky 10,000". Yeah right, they won their places fair and square.

They seemed to be having a lot of issues with the E-tickets which is a concern if they are planning to roll it out for a full stadium.

I queued up for less than a minute on Joe Mercer way but mine was flagged up as "not bought" so I was to a 50 deep queue to have it checked by supporter services. After a 10 minute wait and having barely moved, a steward walked up the queue asking for anybody with a Android device. I clicked on the "show code" section and a barcode came up. He scanned it and let me on to the forecourt.

No such issues at the turnstile, but the reaction times of the scanner was very slow and that is a major concern if they plan on going forward and using these permanently.

My report from attending match yesterday......fucking freezing! (but seeing Kun warm up in front of me as a sub and then scoring 2 goals warmed me up!)

Complete fucking shambles in terms of getting in yesterday (posted a bit in the match thread) but reading some comments this morning it's clear that it wasn't even uniform depending on where in the ground you were.

I was in South Stand and so I got to the usual point of entry for P at 2.45 (my slot was 2.30-3) but the gate was locked. A steward said 'go there' & pointed towards the away fans entrance but that was closed too. Fans were further directed round until we were able to get in off Alan Turing Way. Everyone was herded into huge separate queues and by then tempers were fraying. There were two people on crutches in front of me really struggling and a lead steward was highly aggressive to one of them when he complained about the lack of organisation. At this checkpoint they were only checking questionnaire confirmation mails. After getting through this I went to entrance P and no-one got in first time using the e ticket. The stewards didn't know what you were supposed to do so even though there was hardly anyone in front of me that took over ten minutes. Entered the stadium at 3.25.

After the game I stayed for the Sergio presentation and left afterwards and there was a huge crush at the only open exit, with the stewards panicking and try to move the barriers. Considering there was only about 5000 in the ground at the end this again was a complete balls up.

The club failed to get 10,000 into and out of the ground smoothly and safely and it was an epic fuck up.
