Return of Supporters

The solution is simple. Four out of five seats will have to remain vacant to accomplish the kind of social distance unknown to the folk of Oldham, so that would mean a crowd of about 10k - me and 9,999 others. Can't see what's wrong with that. And the upside would be that it wouldn't take two fuckin' hours to get off Blue Car Park. Are yer reading this, Marwood? Get it sorted.

All sensible in the circumstances.

I imagine it’ll end up being a weighted ballot to account firstly for points, and then readjusted as the season goes along, with those who’ve been lucky enough to get tickets, to previous matches, having a slightly lower chance of getting more tickets, assuming demand is high enough of course.

It’d give everyone, who wants to, a decent chance of getting to a game. There’d still be those that whinge that “they’ve never missed a game so why should I miss out so that 5 match a season Phil can go. That’s just always going to be the case.
That sounds like a very complicated algorithm.
I think you are giving a little too much credit to the ticket office.

I can't see that many clients will want to be entertained at a football match while all this Covid19 virus is going around. If the club does this it could well leave a lot of Man City fans very angry. Both my sister and myself plus who knows how many more
fans angry.
As major sponsors, Heineken fully intends to continue its corporate hospitality for CL games. They set a huge marquee up on the car park, which can easily be distanced safely inside.

I’d like to think the club would offer any spare corporate facilities for free to any NHS / front line workers and care workers for free, it’s the least they deserve.
If this hasn’t been offered already.

Will the ticket costs reflect usual match day prices or 1/19 of a season card..?

Will the ballot be for a your usual block/stand or is it for the whole ground?

I have just posted a comment in another thread that people may want to read, but I will post similar comment here so that as many people get informed of the issue as possible.
There are many questions still to answer, but in my opinion the club is unnecessarily removing the benefit for seasoncard holders to use their Seasoncard seats for other people. This does not comply with their terms and conditions.
This issue needs to be raised by the supporters that it will affect.
I have attached file / images again here to explain the issue and how it relates to the existing terms of the Seasoncard.
It’s likely that there could be a large number of Seasoncard holders affected. There will be impact on family group members and in particular for supporters who work away from home or cannot attend and have a Seasoncard that is used by others at home.
If you agree that this is an issue that should be addressed, and in order to get the attention of the club, then I would be grateful for supporters to report it as a problem through any official supporter lines of communication to the club as they can to request adequate consideration.
thanks for your attention, LOL
J. Gillen
