How long before tickets end up on sites at treble the cost ????????

And how well is photo ID going to be checked. I have been to more than a handful of concerts on tickets purchased off sites and it clearly says photo ID will be checked and it wasn’t

City are required, under the SGSA guidelines, to have accurate contact details for everyone in the stadium. So if you get a ticket, give it to your mate and fail to inform them, then they won't have that. If someone sells a ticket on to a stranger, via Facebook or Twitter, they won't have that. Of course, if you give your ticket to a mate, they might tell the club their contact details. Or they might not, particularly if the club refuse to allow passing on tickets.Photo ID is City's doing, not the PL, government, safety grounds people. Nope. Just City. Alongside the Amnesty that isn't an amnesty and the end of the sharing of season tickets amongst family and friends.
Rules is rules.
They will certainly checking for the first few months at least and see how it goes (ie if the government relaxes things a bit more it will inevitably go out the window).
I would certainly expect other venues such as concerts to be checking as well going forward.
Agreed, while I would like to see away fans back asap as I like to travel away myself I accept it's just not practical at the moment. Over the years I've probably watched as many City games in half-full grounds as I have in jam-packed ones.
Idiots or not,if you dont comply, you wont be going in.Are you thinking Showcase are going to check do me a favour.
They are a bunch of idiots who just get £30 for a days work
I can answer some of these.
1) It's not a choice of deferring or not. As far as we know from our discussions with the club, all season cards are deferred and all ballots will be on a match by match basis.
2) Not quite clear yet but I'd say see (1) above. No point entering people into a ballit if they either don't want to or can't go. But you won't lose your seasoncard if you choose to sit out the whole season.
3) Still talking about the details of the ballots so can't answer for certain but I'd guess around 2-3 weeks.
4) We've asked to the club to build in opportunities to return tickets. Depends what you mean by last minute. We're thinking something like 72 hours before a game being the deadline but it's early days in those discussion. With tickets being so scarce, if you have a ticket and don't use it then it's not unreasonable to expect some sort of sanction. Still to be decided exactly what that might be though.
If you read the terms and conditions of your/his ticket, you'll see it's actually not transferable, now we all do it now and then, but strictly speaking you shouldn't, and with the new restrictions City have no reason to find another way.Hi, Prestwich Blue,
I understand very well the need to comply with the developing conditions and also the need for ID.
I pay for two S/C ,one in my name, one in my sons name.
Due to work pressures, sometimes my son cannot make a game, & my wife uses his ticket.
If as you set out in your posts this is not allowed, this cannot be right. There has to be a protection built in where someone from the same household can use the ticket.
Sanctions could be a problem if someone decides not to go due to showing some symptoms like a high temp. The threat of sanctions could actually make someone think “fuck it I’ll go then” which I’m sure the club won’t want.
