Return of Supporters

just rung Supporter services. they have advised "It is the supporters responsibility to organise their own tests, the club are not organising a testing site"

so its a none-starter as I cant find anywhere to book the lateral flow test

Ticket and car travel booked. The website said ticket will be sent by post, but the initial statement was that it will be print at home.
I'll wait for the confirmation email.

I see a few people have gone ahead and purchased tickets, has anyone managed to book a covid test or are you taking the chance that City come up with something?

This is what is on the City web site.

Supporters must also produce a negative lateral flow test within 24-hours of the Cup Final. The Club is in dialogue with relevant stakeholders and is awaiting further details regarding the availability and location of lateral flow test sites that can be utilised. The Club has been given assurances that testing sites will be made available for supporters and we will provide further information as soon as we are able to do so.

I’ve booked 1.50 (latest one) on the Saturday in Stockport. Assuming the day before will suffice. But they know they will have to provide options as part of the rules.

They told me yesterday Manchester City Council have assured them extra testing capacity will be put on for blues for the saturday late afternoon/ evening. Once they have the details of when and where this will be relayed to fans.

The option for cars won't last long, as you have to buy tickets separately so if 3 from 1 household are going in one car it will allocate 3 spaces.

Therefore most the only option to buy a ticket will be with a train/coach soon.

I have not seen the clubs official site about covid but do people who have had the 2 vaccine doses still have to do a test.
Given that you can still pass on the virus even though you've been vaccinated, yes.

Having a vaccine does not mean you can't spread it to others, hence the mask wearing and social distancing.

ok, havnt any Covid tests confirmed yet but match ticket and coach booked

hope City do come up with something re tests
