Returning to the office.

Huzza
my trust is very loud on " flexibility " for its staff
its only for office staff and high band staff of course
i could work a shift from 6am to 2pm
but they're not happy about that because my " e rostering " says 7am to 3 pm
and they're unhappy me coming in early,
i did it to get home to my lad

my mrs was on ITU for 15 months and me in my role

i had to take holidays when we were both rotered in over weekends cos he
couldn't go to school cos it was a weekend
its just unbelievable what we have had to put up with the last 18 months
oh

and that **** johnson as witheld whatever poxy pay rise he is going to give us now by 104 days

enjoy your flexibility mate
You need a new job mate, clearly the one you have is making you very unhappy and very angry....irrespective of the fact that may be justified, life is far too short to be feeling so low and unappreciated.

It isn't easy finding new work or starting a fresh, but believe me....it's doable and it will be the best thing you ever did.

At least you have light at the tunnel end,but don't end up in a mess while you crawl there. All the best.

I feel for all of you
i had my phone to phone call from my occupational health person,(nhs) a week ago
she is so precious i can't meet her face to face
she has to work from home, and the system was down two weeks ago
i requested it almost 3 months ago,and had it last week

meanwhile shit like me and the bedrock of the NHS worked throughout this shitstorm,in person.
You've had people clapping you on their doorsteps. Surely you don't want decent pay and conditions as well!!

id do it now mate
but she wont go
she's sleeping here now by my side after another exhausting day for her at Tameside
cant wait to raise my City Flag in Udon Thani one fine day.
if you lead enough and want it enough, you'll both be there sooner than 6 years. You have to lead.

I might just ask when we're asked to return if I can have 37 hour week, where I commit to 15 hrs in the office (2 days). I'll detail the benefits: my health has improved due to running more/eating more healthily. My family life is better as I see my kids more. And my take home pay is better as I'm not expending cash. I'm also more productive as I'm not being distracted by general chit chat, or interfence.
