Returning to the office.

also, not many are requesting full time at home - it's doesn't have to be one or the other.

just for many like myself, Monday to Friday - 9 to 5 just doesn't make sense with how i work.

so flexibility is the key and a 2 day week would be ideal.

I have an apprentice who's finishing his 2 years at college this month. Last few weeks he's really lost interest and having to chase him on work almost daily now. I think lot of this due to sitting at home. We have couple guys on site looking after servers, tills, credit machines, etc. Sending apprentice back in couple days a week to help them (starting tomorrow) to try get him motivated. If he doesn't pick up unfortunately guys above me will get rid

Yeah, just get yourself a new job if you're unhappy fella. There's loads of work out there, and if hybrid working or WFH is what you're after, plenty of other businesses will offer that for the same if not more money.
 
I’m going back on the 30th July for one day just so they show us what it will be like when we go back in more regular from September.

looking forward to it as we are doing a trial until March next year of hybrid 2 days in the office a week and 3 at home, with Fridays always being at home. Think this will be the ideal balance for a lot of people and it’s nice to see our place giving things a try

if people can work effectively from home then a 2 day office week should be pushed

Yeah, that's where I'm looking at, just find it astonishing my current employer isn't following suit despite everyone else doing this.
