Returning to the office.

Back in 2 days a week from Monday. Really looking forward to the change of working from home constantly

I'll be going back on the 20th September. So far I believe it will be a staggered model, with everyone returning incrementally up until January.

As far as I am aware, everyone on my team including me is vaccinated. I'd really prefer not to catch COVID at all but I have my doubts on how possible it will be to avoid it. There's a girl on my team who works weekends in pubs and she tested positive last week and had a really bad time of it. Its not my place to say and I don't have it in me to be snide and a grass, but surely something will have to be said about it if it keeps happening. We'll all be sent home every few weeks otherwise. I suppose there's an argument to say that the second job doesn't interfere with the main job,and that working in a pub is arguably similar to going for a drink - and they won't stop people doing that. I feel a slight sense of inevitability about catching it soon.

4 days now instead of 5. What was happening pre Covid anyway.
very stressful for my actual job, as travel takes up 3 hours my day when I should be sending emails out - difficult to do on train with signal in and out.
hey ho. Bosses want us in and seems they won’t listen to anyone’s objections
