All looks a bit Steptoe & Son to me

Seems a lot of fuss to bury a dead guy.

Why Leicester anyway ? I thought he was Richard of York and didn't he kill a couple of kids ?
The carriage is a replica of a Medieval cart called a 'Beer'
Leicester? Nearest to his last battle and death at Bosworth
Richard Duke Of Gloucester, not York
Never absolutely proved that he killed the Princes in the Tower

True, a lot of current historians are leaning towards the possibility he wasn't involved, but I don't think we'll ever know.
The fact is, however, he was pretty well liked and admired during his short reign, and was something of a champion of the common man, for as much as that meant in those times.

I agree, we will probably never know for certain. It's a typical British thing though to sense an 'injustice' and the whole Tudor propaganda thing has clouded any truths that might be there.

Introduced 'bail' into English law, this meant any man awaiting trial who couldn't buy his way out of jail didn't need to spend years in prison awaiting trial

The Tudors trashed him, Shakespear was their mouthpiece

Yeah. Probably trying to deflect from the horrors of Elizabeth's sister and father's reigns at the same time too ;-)

Never mind Son, X factor starts again soon, you can sit in front of your telly clapping along like a demented seal along with all the other numptys, and don't forget that marvel of chav tv Jeremy Kyle will be on sometime Tomorrow, oaf

Yeah I know. Bit ignorant and that.

However, there's bigger questions the country and indeed the human race needs answering at the moment.

That's all.
