My all time City hero. An absolute legend for me. As 5948947 says he would have been better in defence, even at his age, than that lot on Saturday.

Now I think of it, I just use Bluemoon!! Haven't read a paper for sports news in years.
Last time I bought a tabloid paper was when the sun had a massive headline saying all our players had been given gold watches from Sheikh Mansour and then a few days later printed a tiny retraction.
Never ever bought a newspaper since.

Crap player, never rated him, even in our bad times - too much of a liability.
I agree he gave his everything.... but, that is nothing less than I would expect. Anyone that has the chance to play professional football, probably like most on here, would surely bust a gut for the privilege, wouldn't they? I know he popular, but he wasn't good.
Still I wish him a happy retirement.
