Richard Dunne Retired (?)

You get all your news from Bluemoon and Twitter??

But yes - very sad way to finish.
The two best places to get news about City are Bluemoon and Twitter. "New"spapers are well behind on information and in reliability of their information, journalists know a hell of a lot less about all things than they lead on. City don't particularly open up information to the media easily (bar yesterday's access to the CFA).

A star once he got the booze under control in a sea of relative shit most of the time whilst with us. His og's came from trying too hard.

Startlingly, the two things I remember most from him were the backheel at Burnley when the Goat scored 3 and the freekick at WBA he rifled it in only for Poll to make us re-take it.

He was a pundit on TV3, over here on the greener, more civilised island, last night.
In spite of a very biased, dickhead of a presenter constantly prompting him to bad-mouth City (he even resorted to dragging up Cook's China comments for a finish), Dunney sang our praises no end. As did Neil Lennon in the co-commentary slot (by and large - and even though the commentator kept slipping in sly dogs too) to be fair. It was quite refreshing, actually.
On the other hand...
Kevin Kilbane and Brian Kerr were the other pundits in studio - they did their utmost to ensure that the general viewer was reminded that we are indeed only jumped up c**ts; usurping the status that rightfully belongs to clubs with histreeeeeeee.

He was class last night, proper stuck up for us. He probably won't be invited back.

TV3 mmm was it live, was it subscription, can i get it if my mam once visited the motherland on the ferry once back in 1970?

Thanks for everything Dunneymonster. Loved how awkward he looked when we beat Barca pre-season and won this. :)

Had the pleasure of interviewing Dunne back in 2008. Very humble and honest guy, and a great club servant.
