I reckon no one will buy him so we will either have to loan him out or he stays and leaves next season for nowt! I think he will get a shock with wages teams will want to pay him, Apparently he turned down a good deal we offers him also..

This is what baffles me, when he turned that down I presumed he did so in the knowledge that his agent had something lined up for him, that seems not to be the case. Very silly boy.

Yep that was my thought also but it might be he just wants to play games

would love to find some footage of him from back in his earl 20s/late teens. i remember his athleticism and acceleration was awesome. he was already a strong kid. he didnt need to get any stronger or bigger. to think that hes lost some of his best attributes as a player is sad. surely somone had to of been mentoring him with his decision to add the mass.

I think he has already been given the shock, I refuse to believe that we have had no offers for him and so he hasn't had any contract offers. None of them have clearly matched what he is on now and what he seemingly thinks he deserves.

It looks like he is holding out in the hope that one of the club's he has spoken to comes back and offers him what he wants.

Shame really, he isn't doing himself any favours staying here. Pellegrini has clearly shown him the door and it is almost greed keeping him here I fear and hope isn't the case which is sad to see.

4th choice right-back now. Clichy looked miles better than Richards has. Micah has to make a decision - money or career. If he stays here to wind down his contract, he may get a League Cup game or two.

To be honest, from the few appearances in the second half of last season and pre-season, he looks more Championship than Premier League standard. Incredibly poor.

He lost his skills. He didnt have many, but still lost them. He still has pace, but when to use it and how always was a problem for him, I dont trust him defensively at all. Going forward could be okay, but again when to join attack, when not, he has no idea about these things anymore.

In a defence what Pellegrini wants positional skills are hugely important we cant play Richards...
Imagine if we are in knock out CL game and Zab gets injured Richards would be such a weak point and any opponent would target him easily.

Hopefully a 5m offer comes for him, hope its WHU they did spend on Pool deadwoods like Carroll/Downing earlier and gave them big wages and probably they know already it was a mistake.:)
Or QPR maybe.

Expect it only tho in last week of August, teams wait to see does he get injured until then or not, if not and he accepts around 50-60k per week then some lower table team might will gamble on him.

Or really last opton would be just loan him out with the club taking him pays all of his wages. At least that way we dont get fee but save a few millions in wages. Because if he stays we still dont get fees but 3-4m pounds in wages for being a 3rd RB is a joke.

He knows he wont play for us and if he still stays thats very sad for him.

Well WHU not option anymore they just getting Jenkinson on loan from Arsenal for RB spot.
Southampton could be a option? They need now another RB as they have sold Chambers to Arsenal.

Any talk of £7m+ for him can be forgotten. I would think the best way forward now would be to sell him at a low fee, something like £2m, but with a 50% sell-on clause as a major part of the deal. This would have the result of placing the onus of increasing his value onto another club, else that club could lose money, and it would also get a high earner off our books. It must be galling for our backroom executives to offer a new contract to him, only for him to decline it, and once we signed his replacement, Micah couldn't find any takers for him. In view of our attempts not to exceed last season's salary levels enforced under FFP, his desire to force through a transfer has caused both club and player a headache.
